Adopter
Our Adopter volunteers take personal pride in caring for specific outdoor areas such as trails, campgrounds, wildlife habitats, or fishing access sites. Through regular maintenance and monitoring, Adopters become the consistent eyes and hands on the ground, helping us keep these spaces clean, safe, and ecologically sound. Whether you’re adopting a beloved fishing hole or a scenic trail, your ongoing stewardship makes a lasting difference.

Naturalist
Naturalist volunteers are educators at heart. They lead interpretive programs, host guided nature walks, and assist with educational events that connect the public to the natural world. Whether sharing the story of a local ecosystem or explaining animal behavior to curious visitors, Naturalists play a key role in inspiring the next generation of conservationists.

Scientist
Community Scientists support our research and conservation efforts by collecting data on everything from bird migrations to amphibian health and invasive species. No science degree required—just a curious mind, attention to detail, and a passion for the natural world. Volunteers receive training and tools to help monitor wildlife, contribute to statewide surveys, and support real-world decision making in fish and wildlife management.
